Alphelo

Privacy policy

Last updated: 9 October 2026

In short

Alphelo’s tool does not collect your personal data. The only personal data involved are the technical logs of our hosting provider and, if you write to us, your email.

  • No cookies, no accounts, no sign-up.
  • No analytics, no ads, no tracking, and nothing loaded from other websites.
  • Your images are processed only on your device, in your browser. They are never uploaded, to us or to anyone else.

One thing is outside our control, and we want to be clear about it: like every website, Alphelo has to be delivered by a hosting provider, and that provider processes some technical data (see “Hosting” below).

Your images

When you choose, drop or paste an image (including an image you pick as a new background), it is read by your browser and processed by an AI model that runs on your device. The result is created on your device too. Your image is not sent over the network, so we cannot see, store or recover it. When you close the page, it is gone. The sample photos on the site work the same way: they are downloaded from our site and processed on your device.

Data stored on your device

To avoid downloading the AI model every time, your browser keeps a copy of the model and program files (about 80 to 125 MB, depending on the device) in its storage for this site (“Cache Storage”), and Alphelo asks the browser to keep this copy instead of clearing it when space runs low. It contains only these files, never your images or any personal data, and it is not used to recognise you. You can delete it at any time by clearing the site data for alphelo.com in your browser settings.

Hosting (Cloudflare)

The site is hosted by Cloudflare (Cloudflare Pages). To deliver the pages and protect the site from attacks and abuse, Cloudflare necessarily processes technical data in its logs, such as your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested and your browser type. This happens on Cloudflare’s systems; Alphelo does not receive these logs and does not use this data to identify or track you. Cloudflare processes this data on our behalf, under its standard data processing terms (Cloudflare’s data processing addendum).

Legal basis: legitimate interest in delivering the site and keeping it secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Transfers outside the EU: Cloudflare may process this data in the United States and other countries. For transfers from the EEA, Switzerland and the UK to the United States, Cloudflare relies on its certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (and its Swiss and UK extensions), and on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses if that certification lapses or is invalidated. Details: Cloudflare’s privacy policy (section on international transfers) and the Data Privacy Framework list.

If you email us

Writing to us is optional. If you write to hello@alphelo.com, we receive your email address, your message and anything you include in it, and use them only to answer you. We do not add you to any list.

Legal basis: taking the steps you ask for in your message (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) or, for other messages, our legitimate interest in replying to you (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Retention: we delete the conversation within 12 months after it ends, unless we have to keep it longer to comply with a legal obligation or to establish or defend a legal claim.

The mailbox is hosted by Register.it S.p.A. (Italy), which processes the messages on our behalf.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask for access to your personal data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and you can object to processing. Write to hello@alphelo.com. Because the tool does not collect personal data and we do not receive the hosting logs, in most cases we will hold no data about you unless you have emailed us. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in Italy the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, or the authority where you live or work.

Children

Alphelo does not ask for any personal data and has no accounts, so the tool does not collect data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this ever changes (for example if we add advertising), we will update this page before the change takes effect and change the date above.
