Alphelo

Terms of use

Last updated: 9 October 2026

1. About these terms

These terms apply to the use of the website www.alphelo.com and the background removal tool on it (“Alphelo”, “we”). By using Alphelo you accept these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. The service

Alphelo is a free tool that removes the background from images. The processing happens entirely in your browser, on your device: we never receive your images. There is no account and no payment. We may change, suspend or stop the service at any time.

3. Your images and your responsibility

  • Use Alphelo only with images you have the right to use and edit (for example your own photos, or images whose licence allows editing).
  • You are responsible for the images you process and for how you use the results, including respecting copyright, trademarks and the rights of people shown in the images.
  • Do not use Alphelo for unlawful purposes, such as creating content that is illegal, defamatory, or that violates someone’s privacy or image rights.
  • We do not claim any rights in your images or in the results.

4. Acceptable use of the site

Do not try to disrupt the site, overload it, or access it in ways it was not designed for. Third-party components (the AI model, the runtime that runs it and the font) are distributed under their own open-source licences, listed on the licenses page; those licences apply to them. Alphelo’s own code, design and texts are not covered by those licences.

5. No warranty

Alphelo is provided free of charge, “as is” and “as available”. Results are produced automatically by an AI model and can be wrong or incomplete (for example with glass, transparent objects, hair or fur). Check the result before you use it. To the extent permitted by law, we give no warranty that the service is error-free, uninterrupted or fit for a particular purpose.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of Alphelo, including loss of data, images or business. Because your images are processed on your device and never reach us, we have no access to them and cannot recover them. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, for example for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, and nothing affects the mandatory rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.

7. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. These terms are governed by Italian law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence. Questions: hello@alphelo.com
